Saudi Arabia: IFO blends now offered in Jeddah
Labco, a UK-based sales agent for Saudi supplier and trader Bakri International Energy Co Ltd, has told Bunkerworld that Bakri now welcomes enquiries for blended products in the Saudi Red Sea port of Jeddah.
Products generally offered in Jeddah are 380cst, 180cst and MGO, but Labco has just been advised that Bakri now also offers supply of 150cst, 120cst, 100cst, 80cst, 60cst, 40cst and 30cst.
To achieve the correct grade in the 150cst to 30cst range, the company will use a percentage of 180cst and a percentage of MGO, which will be blended together onboard the supply tanker. The only stipulation is that Bakri will only supply vessels requiring a minimum of 500 metric tonnes, Labco said.
The price is calculated according to the ratio of the quantity of 180cst and MGO in the mix. Current posted prices for IFO180 and MGO in Jeddah are $167.75 and $276.50 respectively.
